اسلام آباد: نیشنل ڈیزاسٹر مینجمنٹ اتھارٹی (این ڈی ایم اے) نے پیش گوئی کی ہے کہ ملک کے کئی علاقوں میں شدید بارشوں کے باعث شہری سیلاب اور ندی نالوں میں طغیانی کا خطرہ بڑھ گیا ہے۔
بارشوں کا نیا سسٹم
این ڈی ایم اے کے مطابق 7 تا 10 ستمبر کے دوران جنوب مشرقی سندھ کے مختلف اضلاع میںانتہائی شدید بارشوں کا امکان ہے، جس کے نتیجے میں نچلے ساحلی علاقے شہری سیلاب سے متاثر ہو سکتے ہیں۔
محکمہ موسمیات کے مطابق بھارت کے گجرات اور راجستھان میں موجود بارشوں کا سسٹم مغرب کی سمت بڑھ رہا ہے، جو سندھ، ملحقہ بلوچستان اور جنوبی پنجاب کو متاثر کرے گا۔ یہ بارشیں 10 ستمبر تک وقفے وقفے سے جاری رہنے کا امکان ہے۔
خطرے والے علاقے
انتہائی بارشوں کے باعث کیرتھر رینجز اور بلوچستان کے لسبیلہ و خضدار میں ندی نالوں میں طغیانی متوقع ہے۔ اسی طرح کوہ سلیمان اور جنوبی پنجاب کے نشیبی مقامات پر بھی شدید بارشوں کے نتیجے میں پانی کا بہاؤ بڑھ سکتا ہے، جو مقامی آبادی کے لیے خطرناک ثابت ہو سکتا ہے۔

این ڈی ایم اے نے شہریوں کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ وہ ندی نالوں اور برساتی ریلوں کو عبور کرنے سے گریز کریں اور متعلقہ اداروں کی ہدایات پر عمل کریں۔ ریسکیو اور امدادی اداروں کو بھی الرٹ رہنے کی ہدایت جاری کی گئی ہے تاکہ کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتحال میں بروقت کارروائی کی جا سکے۔
